Genwise values your privacy and security and provides this Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy") to provide information about the ways that Genwise (the "Company", "us" or "we") accesses, collects, and stores your personally identifiable information ("PII") when you use or make purchases through genwise.com and its affiliated social media accounts, applications, and other accessible internet media (collectively, the "Site"). By using, viewing, or making any purchase from the Site in any way, you acknowledge that you have agreed to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, then you must immediately cease use of the Site.

The Company may modify or replace this Agreement at any time by updating this document on the Site. You agree to be bound by the most recent version of the Agreement as posted on the Site.

We do not knowingly collect PII from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have any PII about a child under 13, please contact us immediately so we may remove it.

1.     HOW WE COLLECT PII

(a)  We may collect PII at various points throughout the Site. We may collect the following categories of PII:

i.     Information automatically collected. This includes information collected from cookies and other automatic log or tracking capabilities. Cookies are small text files which are placed on your computer. Cookies help us identify return visitors and allow us to optimize the site for you. Cookies do not give us access to your computer. The information we automatically collect may include your IP address, referring webpage, browser or mobile device information, and information about your visit.

ii.     Information you voluntarily share with the Site. This includes information you submit to the Site whether through a form, by email, or when purchasing a product or service (collectively "Products"). This type of PII generally includes your name, email address, telephone number, payment information (such as credit card), and mailing address.  

iii.     Information to facilitate orders of Products through the Site. When you order Products through the Site, we may need to contact you for additional information to complete or facilitate your order.

iv.     Information from surveys and newsletters. From time to time, we may contact you to participate in surveys or with our email newsletter. We may collect your responses. You may opt out of these emails by following the instructions contained in such emails.

2.     HOW WE USE PII

(a)  In general, we use PII to enhance the user experience and to facilitate and complete orders for products. We may use your Personal Information in the following ways:

i.     To facilitate, complete, and ship orders of Products.

ii.     To customize or set up software Products.

iii.     To track your purchases and purchase history to enhance your use of our Site and to help us identify and to suggest specific offers that we think might be valuable to you.

iv.     To answer your questions and provide customer support.

v.     To optimize and customize your experience while on the Site.

vi.     To log, analyze, and test Site functionality.

3.     HOW WE DISCLOSE PII

(a)  We may disclose your PII in the following limited ways:

i.     To suppliers as necessary to complete your order for a Product.

ii.     To our third party credit card processors to facilitate payments.

iii.     To comply with a legal process, subpoena, or court order, or to defend ourselves in a legal action or dispute.

iv.     As the terms of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our assets.

v.     To our analytics partners to optimize and analyze our Site.

4.     OTHER PRIVACY TERMS

(a)  We take the security of your PII seriously and employ various security safeguards to protect it from inadvertent disclosure or access. However, it is impossible to guarantee that your PII will not be intercepted when transmitted to us across the internet. Therefore, any PII transmitted to the Company is transmitted at your own risk and the Company will not be responsible for any damages incurred as a result of any data breach.

(b)  We may use Google Analytics on our Site. Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google. Google utilizes the data collected to track and examine the use of the Site, to prepare reports on the activities of its users, and share them with other Google services. Google may use the data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

(c)   Most web browsers allow you to disable or limit your use of cookies. Please note that doing so may limit your ability to enjoy all the features of the Site.

(d)  You may encounter links to third party websites or downloads ("Third Party Links") when browsing the Site. We have no affiliation with these Third Party Links and cannot guarantee your security or privacy when accessing them. Please use caution when accessing Third Party Links.
